Marketing Director – Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy

Department: Leadership

Reports To: Senior Leadership Team (GM & AGM), Owner/Operator

Location: Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy

Hourly Pay Range: $23.00–$26.00

Position Summary

The Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy is responsible for leading all marketing, community engagement, and brand awareness efforts. This individual develops and executes a strategic marketing plan that strengthens community relationships, increases guest engagement, and supports overall restaurant growth. The Marketing Director ensures all marketing initiatives reflect Chick-fil-A’s mission to “Be the most caring company in the world” and collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team to create meaningful experiences for guests both inside the restaurant and throughout the local community.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Champion Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all marketing and community interactions.
  • Model servant leadership and cultivate a culture of care, creativity, and excellence.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and consistent alignment with brand standards.
  • Build dependable relationships with team members, community partners, and guests.

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, plan, and execute the annual marketing calendar in alignment with restaurant goals and Chick-fil-A brand guidelines.
  • Manage all local marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonal initiatives, and Local Store Marketing.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content creation, posting, and digital engagement across platforms.
  • Evaluate marketing performance using analytics (engagement, impressions, ROI, guest interaction) and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Utilize Chick-fil-A corporate marketing programs, assets, and resources to enhance local initiatives.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, churches, nonprofit organizations, local sports teams, and civic groups.
  • Coordinate off-site events, sponsorships, and community appearances that reinforce Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy’s presence.
  • Oversee donation requests, community support programs, and Chick-fil-A Cares involvement.
  • Represent Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy professionally at community functions and networking events.

Guest Engagement & Experience

  • Create engaging in-restaurant experiences through visual displays, promotional materials, storytelling, and atmosphere enhancements.
  • Partner with FOH leadership to implement guest-centered promotions and loyalty-building initiatives.
  • Manage Chick-fil-A App engagement strategies, including targeted offers, rewards, and promotional campaigns.
  • Plan and execute events such as Family Nights, holiday celebrations, and specialty promotions.

Brand Management & Quality Control

  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect Chick-fil-A’s brand guidelines, tone, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain updated in-store signage, POP materials, and seasonal decor.
  • Manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategic adjustments.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align marketing goals with operational priorities.
  • Communicate upcoming marketing plans, promotions, and events to the entire team using internal platforms like OneClick and iMessage.
  • Provide training to Team Members supporting marketing activities or events.
  • Attend leadership meetings and provide updates on marketing performance, opportunities, and long-term planning.

Expectations & Standards

  • Uphold Chick-fil-A’s standards of appearance, professionalism, and punctuality.
  • Maintain a creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event days.
  • Represent Chick-fil-A North Dupont Hwy with integrity and positivity in all community settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, outreach, or a related field.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to plan, lead, and execute projects independently.
  • High attention to detail, creativity, and alignment with Chick-fil-A’s brand culture.
  • Open availability, including Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Chick-fil-A experience or familiarity with its brand standards.
  • Experience running social media for a business or organization.
  • Event planning or community outreach experience.
  • Graphic design or content creation skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
