Role Description:

As a Late-Night Closer, you will play a critical role in setting our restaurant up for success each day. This position is split into two key parts:

From 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, you will work in Back of House operations, supporting the team in food production and maintaining Chick-fil-A’s high standards.

From 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM, you will transition into closing responsibilities, ensuring the restaurant is fully cleaned, stocked, and prepared for the next day.

You will work alongside a team throughout the evening, with a smaller, tight-knit closing team after 10:00 PM. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and pride in your work.

Responsibilities:

Evening Operations (5 PM – 8 PM)

• Jump into a fast-paced kitchen environment and support your team with energy and urgency
• Assist with food preparation including breading, handling fryers and assembling high-quality products
• Uphold Chick-fil-A’s standards for food safety, cleanliness, and quality
• Help keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and running smoothly

Closing Responsibilities (8 PM – 1 AM)

As a Late-Night Closer, you play a key role in finishing the day strong and setting up the next team for success.

Back of House Closing:

• Take ownership of cleaning and maintaining key equipment, including breading tables, fryers, and grill
• Prepare chicken for the next day to ensure a smooth and successful opening
• Work alongside your team to thoroughly clean, sweep, scrub, and reset the entire restaurant
• Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes so everything is clean and ready for the next day
• Stock and prepare items like mac & cheese and milkwash to support the morning team

Front of House Setup:

• Help set up key guest-facing areas by assembling and filling ice cream and lemonade machines

Back of House Setup:

• Reset breading tables and kitchen stations for the next day
• Ensure all tools, dishes, and equipment are clean, organized, and in their proper place

Requirements:

• Stand/work for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work late-night hours consistently (until 1:00 AM)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly
• Team-oriented, dependable, and hardworking

Compensation & Schedule:

• $17/hour starting pay
• 5 days per week required

• Must be 18 or out of high school
