We’re excited to open this new restaurant concept and are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations.
You’ll oversee the heart of our restaurant: the kitchen. This means ensuring every piece of chicken, waffle fry, and side meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards for taste, quality, and presentation — while running efficient, safe, and high-volume shifts in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do as Kitchen Manager:
- Lead Daily Kitchen Operations: Actively participate in food preparation, cooking, assembly, and expediting during peak hours. Run kitchen shifts with a strong focus on speed of service, accuracy, and consistency.
- Deliver Craveable Food Quality: Maintain rigorous standards for recipe adherence, portion control, taste, and presentation. Continuously monitor and improve food quality scores.
- Champion Food Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure full compliance with Chick-fil-A food safety procedures, proper temperature controls, sanitation standards, and health department requirements. Lead by example to achieve top audit scores.
- Develop & Coach the Kitchen Team: Hire, train, schedule, motivate, and develop kitchen team members and trainers. Act as a role model, provide immediate feedback, and help team members grow in their roles.
- Manage Costs & Efficiency: Oversee food and paper inventory, control costs, minimize waste, manage truck orders, and hit labor and throughput targets while maintaining excellence.
- Support Operational Excellence: Help pioneer our newest restaurant design concept. Assist with opening/closing procedures, training new hires, and implementing strategies to improve kitchen efficiency.
- Embody Chick-fil-A Values: Lead with a servant heart, maintain a positive and welcoming environment, offer respectful guest support when needed, and contribute to overall restaurant success alongside the Operator and leadership team.
You’ll spend the majority of your time on the floor, working hands-on with the team in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or culinary experience a plus)
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting (QSR/fast-casual preferred)
- Strong passion for food quality, safety, and operational excellence
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to grow and develop personally
- Positive attitude and servant-leadership approach
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
