Kitchen Manager – Chick-fil-A Granite Bay

Role Summary

As a Kitchen Manager at Chick-fil-A, you will be responsible for leading the Back of House (BOH) operations with excellence, ensuring food quality, safety, speed of service, and team member development. You will oversee kitchen systems, drive efficiency, and create a positive and structured environment that empowers team members to succeed.

This is a full-time leadership position, requiring flexibility, possible overtime, and a commitment to supporting both the restaurant’s operational success and our people-first culture. We are looking for a strong individual that shows great leadership and team collaboration that is looking to possibly advance further on our leadership team.

Compensation $23.00-$25.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop BOH team members to meet Chick-fil-A standards.
• Ensure all food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Manage kitchen systems including inventory, prep, holding, and throughput.
• Schedule, delegate, and manage daily kitchen operations for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support cross-department teamwork with Front of House and leadership teams.
• Coach team members on procedures, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Enforce Chick-fil-A brand standards while modeling servant leadership.
• Monitor food cost, waste, and labor to align with restaurant goals.
• Be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to upholding Chick-fil-A’s core values and culture.
• Must be full-time with availability for overtime as needed.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to life 20lbs or more.
