What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Director position at Chick-fil-A?
We are looking for a Kitchen Director to join our team at Chick-fil-A Keizer. The right candidate for this role will be passionate about consistently and efficiently delivering high quality food for our guests while developing the Back-of-House (BOH) Team.
Your Impact:
- As a member of the Executive Team, you will partner directly with the local Owner Operator to deliver high quality food for our guests
- Responsible for weekly scheduling of 50 BOH team members
- Responsible for placing all product orders and maintaining inventory
- Assist in the hiring and development process of BOH team members and leaders
- Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning are completed as scheduled
- Maintain a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety and quality
- Increase overall restaurant results, working cross-functionally with other department leaders through attending weekly meetings and setting high-level collaborative goals
Background and Skills:
- 3 Years of food service related Leadership experience required
- Full availability is required (Mon-Sat; open to close; Holidays)
- Ability to effectively communicate all Kitchen related goals and success factors
- Passionate and knowledgeable about food safety
- Fun, outgoing, energetic personality
- Ability and eagerness to mentor younger team members and to have a positive impact on their professional development
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Detailed, organized and process-oriented
