As a Dining Room Hostess at Chick-fil-A, you will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized dining area while providing outstanding customer service. You will be the face of our restaurant, making sure every guest feels valued and well-attended to during their visit.

Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and order of the dining room, assisting with guest seating, and providing support to guests as needed to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience. You will work closely with the team to ensure the restaurant environment meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Dining Area Maintenance:

• Keep the dining area clean, organized, and inviting for guests at all times.
• Ensure tables are wiped down, sanitized, and set up for new guests promptly.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout the dining area.
• Monitor trash and recycling areas, ensuring they are emptied regularly and maintained in a neat and sanitary manner.
• Restock napkins, condiments, and utensils as needed.

Guest Interaction:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude as they enter the restaurant.
• Assist guests with seating, ensuring they are comfortable and have everything they need for their meal.
• Anticipate and address guests' needs during their visit, including refills, extra napkins, or any special requests.
• Ensure all guests have an exceptional dining experience by responding to questions and resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
• Maintain a positive and energetic attitude, contributing to a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Team Support:

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the dining room.
• Assist front-of-house team as needed to keep the flow of service efficient.
• Support leadership in maintaining restaurant standards and contributing to the team’s success.

Safety & Cleanliness:

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A’s high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in keeping restroom facilities clean and stocked for guest use.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
