Job description

At Chick-fil-A, the Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Team Members are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

Front of House Team Member Responsibilities:    

  • Serve as the face of Chick-fil-A Auburn Gold Rush by providing attentive and courteous service to our valued guests
  • Make Emotional Connections with Guests
  • Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant
  • Greet guests, take and prepare customer orders in drive-thru, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that each guest has a memorable, personalized experience
  • Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
  • Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
  • Work on their feet for several hours at a time
  • Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Maintain a sanitary, safe, and impeccably clean restaurant, observing health and sanitation guidelines by mopping, sweeping floors, removing the trash, cleaning equipment, and keeping the dining room, parking lot and restrooms clean
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous restaurant experience is a plus
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation
