Job Description:
As a Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A Huntington Mall, you are the face of our establishment, providing genuine hospitality, fast and accurate service, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. Your role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while adhering to local health and food safety laws.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Genuine Hospitality:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and courteously.
- Ensure guests feel valued and appreciated throughout their dining experience.
2. Fast and Accurate Service:
- Take and process guest orders efficiently and accurately using our POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Prepare food and beverage items according to Chick-fil-A standards and recipes, ensuring speed and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to expedite orders and maintain a smooth flow of service.
3. Food Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines set forth by Chick-fil-A and local health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and condiment stations.
- Monitor and record temperatures of food items and storage units to ensure safe food handling practices.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and shift leaders to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Assist with training new team members on front of house procedures, including hospitality standards and food safety protocols.
- Support a positive and respectful work environment by actively participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for improvement.
5. Additional requirements:

- Work on your feet several hours at a time

-Other duties assigned by leadership that are deemed necessary or needed.
-Lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, reach, move up and down ladders and work in various temperature-controlled environments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional hospitality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to Chick-fil-A's standards and procedures for food safety and customer service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
