What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front-of-house Supervisor position at Chick-fil-A?
We have a few openings for the Chick-fil-A Shift Supervisor position. At Chick-fil-A the Supervisor position will be the right hand and will be reporting directly to an Operations Director and Assistant Director. The Chick-fil-A Supervisor has the responsibility for directing the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, financial accountability, and ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers. As our founder Truett Cathy said, “We’re not just in the chicken business, we are in the people business.”
Requirements:
- You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest, and have great customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation with a current driver's license is required
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Be at least 18 years old
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Be available to work any time including Saturdays- time off can be given for special requests
- Have at least one-year of previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual/Spanish a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage team members behavioral and performance issues
- Knowledge of computer and internet-based software and hardware preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
