Team Leader Responsibilities:

As a Chick-fil-A Florissant Shift Lead/Team Leader, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant while embodying our commitment to food safety, food quality, and exceptional service. Your key responsibilities include:

• Uphold Food Safety Standards: Ensure adherence to Chick-fil-A Florissant’s food safety standards and operational procedures, promoting a safe environment for both team members and guests.
• Ensure Food Quality: Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring that all items meet Chick-fil-A’s high standards for taste and freshness.
• Create Connections: Offer immediate and respectful responses to guest needs, reinforcing our \Winning Hearts Every Day\ philosophy and enhancing the overall dining experience.
• Lead Operational Activities: Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant, ensuring efficient and effective service.
• Train, Mentor and Develop Team Members: Assist in the training of new hires and set the tone for each shift. Act as a role model for the team, fostering a positive and encouraging work environment.
• Open and Close the Restaurant: Lead shifts as a team leader, performing opening, midday, and closing tasks, including counting drawers, finalizing transactions and ensuring checklists are completed accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate Effectively: Utilize excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear and effective interactions with team members and guests.
• Other Duties as Assigned
