What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Training position at Chick-fil-A?
At Chick-fil-A Townridge Square, the Training Director is a senior leader on the Leadership Team.
The Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the training and development
programs for new and existing team members. This role ensures that all staff are well-prepared
to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to Chick-fil-A's operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Learn and understand all FOH & BOH positions
- Utilize and continually improve the training process
- Creates and maintains relevant training checklists/tools
- Assist in restaurant on floor operations whenever needed
- Communicate weekly with the Executive Director and Talent Director in strategically
assigning shifts for New Team Members’ (NTM) until they are completely trained.
- Ensure New TM’s are grounded in the Chick-fil-A culture
- Guide each NTM through the FOH and BOH core roles until they are mastered
- Be the point of contact for each NTM for any questions/concerns they have
- Ensure the NTM receives a performance review upon completion of their training
- Oversees Trainers and “trains the Trainer” to uphold training standards
- Performs Training Audits to ensure Pathways Standards are being upheld
Management Tasks
- Leading BOH/FOH shifts
- Change fund ordering and dispatching
- Counting Drawers
- Running Breaks
- Cleanliness of the restaurant and drive thru
- Assists in the completion of SAFE Daily Criticals and eRQA
- All other tasks as assigned

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
