Delivery Driver (E-Bike)

Description
Chick-fil-A Wicker Park is seeking talented hospitality and food industry professionals to join our team as Delivery Drivers. This is not just a delivery role-you will be an ambassador of the Chick-fil-A brand in the community while also contributing to our in-restaurant operations.

We sell amazing and delicious products, but more importantly, our desire is to serve and make a difference in the lives of every guest we come in contact with. NOTE: Candidates must be willing and able to work outdoors. Deliveries will be made year-round using Chick-fil-A-provided e-bikes. Drivers are also required to be trained in and support restaurant operations between deliveries.

Operational Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to guests using Chick-fil-A provided e-bikes.
• Provide remarkable guest service at the door with warmth, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Take ownership of the Chick-fil-A brand and purpose by being a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.
• Assist in-restaurant operations between deliveries, including order fulfillment, food prep, stocking, and cleaning.
• Be proactive in your shift to set up the team for success (i.e. stocking, cleaning, supporting drive-thru or dining room).
• Always arrive in full uniform and be ready to serve guests upon your scheduled time.
• Download and actively use restaurant apps as needed for deliveries.
• Promote a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive work environment.
• Maintain a flexible, "I will serve anywhere!" mentality.
• Always be open to feedback and keep an open line of communication with leadership.

NOTE: Delivery Driver responsibilities are not limited to the ones listed above. From time to time, team members may be required to perform additional duties to support business demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable and confident riding an e-bike in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to support the restaurant outside of delivery responsibilities.
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong guest service skills.
• Available to work at least 5 days per week (including Fridays and Saturdays), with open or closing availability (minimum 37 hours per week).

Company Information
In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.
