Chick-fil-A Delivery Driver

A Delivery Driver Team Member at Chick-fil-A works during our specific delivery shifts. The shifts are normally early morning, too early afternoon, late breakfast to mid afternoon and mid afternoon until evening. However, these shifts can fluctuate based on delivery volume as our service grows. 

Additional responsibility includes supporting restaurant operations by restocking, serving customers, or refreshing beverages, as well as delivery driver responsibilities. Vehicle and fleet maintenance is also expected in this role.

This role also includes completing and managing checklists and training new employees on those basic tasks, as well as delivery fundamentals. 

We will require a DMV drivers check and background check for all delivery drivers. Personal Liability insurance is required. All drivers must be over the age of 18 to legally operate one of our businesses motor vehicles (we have leased vehicles to drive).

Lastly, we expect delivery drivers to model Chick-fil-A cultural standards in their interactions with guests. This may include helping us with guest recovery for delivery orders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve all our valued guests with honor, dignity, and respect by being a Chick-fil-A Avondale Haslet brand ambassador!

• Answering guest questions and needs with the highest level of Chick-fil-A Professionalism.
• Assembles and prepares food orders on our front counter and in our kitchen. As well as delivering them to guests in our dining room, drive-thru and outside to vehicles.
• Operating a cash register system and all that entails (cash, credit card, coupon payment).
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Specifically, our unique and industry leading food safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by learning the positions in the restaurant. This means you may be asked to support the team by working in the kitchen, OR in the front of the house.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds. Also, being outside anywhere from 1-3 hours at a time depending on the heat & cold index.
