As a Catering Lead you will:
• Support and serve at off site sales events while creating a warm and welcoming experience for every guest. You will represent Chick-fil-A Corsicana in the community and help guests feel cared for even when they are far from the restaurant.
• Use strong administrative skills to collect sales, keep records organized, and communicate clearly with schools, businesses, and community partners. You will help ensure all accounts stay current and every detail is handled with excellence.
• Prepare thoughtful catering plans for busy weekends, large orders, and holiday seasons. You will coordinate schedules, organize equipment, and make sure the team is set up for a smooth and successful service.
• Lift and transport equipment, food, and supplies up to 40 pounds. You will move catering items from the restaurant to event locations safely and ensure everything arrives ready for an outstanding guest experience.
What You Will Do
• Coordinate and prepare all catering orders with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
• Lead team members during catering builds and support them through busy order times.
• Organize catering supplies, maintain inventory levels, and keep all storage areas clean and ready.
• Deliver catering orders on time while providing warm and reliable hospitality at every location.
• Support off site sales events and serve as a positive representative of Chick-fil-A Corsicana in the community.
• Communicate clearly with guests, schools, and businesses regarding orders, billing, and event details.
• Manage administrative tasks, including tracking sales, processing payments, and keeping accounts current.
• Use Microsoft Office and Excel to organize records, build reports, and maintain accurate catering documentation.
• Operate point of sale systems for catering transactions and ensure all orders are recorded correctly.
• Prepare catering plans for busy weekends, large orders, and seasonal events.
• Lift and transport catering equipment and supplies up to 40 pounds.
• Uphold Chick-fil-A food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality standards at all times.
What We Are Looking For
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food service, hospitality, or administrative roles.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills to keep catering operations running smoothly.
• A self-starter who can work independently while leading and supporting team members during catering events.
• Clear and professional communicator who follows up with guests, schools, and businesses to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, events, and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Docs to track orders, reports, and records
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for deliveries and off-site events.
Typical Schedule
• Most shifts are 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday-Saturday, working 5 of the 6 days
• Ocasional evening event shifts are typically 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Scheduling varies based on business needs and will be updated seasonally
