What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Delivery Driver position at Chick-fil-A?
Delivery drivers are generally offered as either part time or full time. You will be a member of the Chick-fil-A family and will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care. The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guest's expectations outside of the Restaurant.

Catering Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency and hospitality
- Represent Chick-fil-A by providing exceptional customer service during each delivery
- Work alongside the Kitchen and Catering Teams to prepare, organize, and assemble catering orders for accuracy and quality before delivery
- Assist in packaging, loading, and verifying catering orders to ensure all items are included
- Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
- Communicate professionally with guests and leadership regarding delivery updates or concerns
- Meet with Supervisor on shift to receive specific position and other duty(s) assigned on current shift when there are no deliveries available
- Must be willing to serve as both a delivery driver and inside restaurant support in Kitchen or Service Operations
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older in order to operate a Chick-fil-A vehicle
- Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS
- Must have a valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 25 lbs)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
- Strong hospitality mindset and attention to detail
