The individual in this position will be responsible for preparing all orders, handing them out to guests upon arrival at the restaurant and delivering orders to specified locations when requested. The catering coordinator is not a leadership position and the coordinator will report directly to the Operations Director.Prepare order slips and paper goods the night before/start of the dayCommunicate with kitchen director or kitchen leadAnswer catering questions and help guests make the best choice for their needsLearn and keep track of hold times to ensure food quality and safetyCarry large orders to the guests’ carRing up new catering orders for guests who order at the restaurantAlways go the second-mile while caring for our guests, including mailing thank you notes for catering ordersPosition Type: Full-time (Minimum 20 hours/week)Qualifications and Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldEngage our guests with a servant-hearted mindset, hospitality, and careGain knowledge on all menu items and assure their quality and accuracyBe able to handle a fast-paced and quickly-changing work environmentBe able to stand/walk up to 100 feet at a time, over a period of four hours without a breakBe able to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictionsBe able to work with basic restaurant cleaning chemicals and tools with no restrictions or allergiesBe able to be flexible moving through different positions including, but not limited to, drive-thru service, outdoor order taking, front counter cashiering, and dining room hostingBe fluent in EnglishBe able to do basic math (Giving correct change, counting bills and change in cash drawers, and giving change for larger bills)Consistency and reliabilityCheerful and positive attitude Loves serving and helping othersCustomer service orientedStrong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Works well independently and in a team environmentBe willing and able to work a flexible scheduleMost Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business ownerswho make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their owncontent and policies.Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
