Position Type: Full-time, 36-45 hours / week M-F with Saturday availability $24/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the entire kitchen area under the leadership of the Back of House Director
  • Ownership of all financial aspects of the kitchen (food cost, etc.)
  • Collaboration & team building with kitchen management in all day parts
  • Develop a restaurant culture of growth minded team members and leaders. A culture of product knowledge, stewardship, excitement and generosity. Incorporate this into training, ongoing development, communications and everyday culture
  • Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the leadership team
  • Ensure stewardship systems are taking place throughout the restaurant
  • Develop leaders in such a way that they are operating as a motivated, high-performance team that embodies the vision of the business
  • Oversee speed of service and completion of goals
  • Oversee product quality and accuracy
  • Create, lead and implement systems that will be the standard for all Back of House innovation and high-performance teams throughout the restaurant
  • Embodies the vision set forth by the Operator and must be able to teach it
  • Empowers management
  • Delegates effectively
  • Provides own vision and accountability
  • Meets regularly with team to discuss issues / improvements
  • Ensure policies are being followed per the Team Member Handbook
  • Evaluates all areas of the business and makes recommendations to the Operator for improvements

Required and/or Preferred Qualification:

  • Prior leadership experience demonstrating skills in food preparation, management, organization, and training development 
  • Proven experience in a similar employee development, training development and/or trainer role, regardless of industry
  • Demonstrated strong leadership experience 
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • High standards in the area of operational excellence, quality, and customer service
  • Exhibits a natural ability and desire to coach, mentor and develop others and themselves
  • Positive attitude
  • Job Type: Full-time

Schedule (open to discuss):

  • 8-hour shift
  • Days (6AM-2PM), mids (11AM-7PM), or nights (3PM-11PM) (open to discuss)

Weekly day range:

  • Weekend availability
  • Possible Rotating weekend availability
