Job Title: Business Operations Intern (Multi-Disciplinary) Location: Chick-fil-A – Alliance, Ohio Position Type: Internship (Part-Time / Seasonal) Position Overview The Business Operations Intern program at Chick-fil-A Alliance is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple areas of restaurant operations and leadership. This internship offers students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting while developing professional skills in hospitality, operations, marketing, inventory management, and strategic planning. Interns will have the opportunity to focus on one or more specialized tracks based on their field of study and career interests while contributing to key business initiatives and guest experience excellence. Internship Tracks & Responsibilities Hospitality Management (Hospitality, Communications, Business Majors) Deliver exceptional guest service and create a welcoming environment Assist in developing and implementing hospitality strategies that enhance guest satisfaction Support event planning and execution, including community outreach initiatives Help design and sustain systems that improve consistency in guest experience Inventory Management (Business, Supply Chain Majors) Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, and stock management Analyze usage trends and support cost-control initiatives Help implement systems to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with leadership to ensure proper supply levels and minimize waste Operations Management (Operations, Business Majors) Support daily restaurant operations and workflow optimization Assist in analyzing processes to improve speed, quality, and efficiency Help develop and sustain operational systems and standard procedures Participate in strategic planning initiatives to improve overall performance Marketing (Marketing, Communications Majors) Assist with local marketing campaigns and promotional efforts Support social media content creation and brand engagement Help plan and promote events that drive community involvement Analyze campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement Strategic Planning & Systems Development (All Interns) Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for business improvement Assist in developing, implementing, and sustaining systems focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence Analyze data, guest feedback, and performance metrics to inform decision-making Participate in planning sessions and contribute ideas aligned with business goals Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Must have completed at least two semesters of an undergraduate program) Strong interest in business operations, hospitality, marketing, or supply chain Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, leadership, or team-based environments Demonstrated interest in one of the internship focus areas Ability to think strategically and contribute innovative ideas Learning Outcomes Gain practical experience in a fast-paced business environment Develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Learn how to build, implement, and sustain effective business systems Strengthen strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities Build a strong foundation for future career opportunities Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Mentorship from Chick-fil-A leadership Opportunities for professional growth and advancement How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and indicate their preferred internship track(s), along with a brief statement outlining their career interests and goals.
