What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep position at Chick-fil-a (DC & Restaurants)?
Prep is its own area in the kitchen where all cold food products are assembled. Using FIFO and following all food safety guidelines prep follows a kanban system for all cold items served such as salads, fruit cups, and more. Prep will also prepare bulk items such as Mac and Cheese ready for cooking, chopping romaine, and cutting and sorting Green Leaf. GOALS Have all cold items prepped and ready for BOH and FOH at all times Set up next shifts for success by having all salads prepped and ready and ensure all food safety protocols are followed Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
