Position Summary The Front of House (FOH) Team Member plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for every guest. Whether greeting guests at the front counter, serving meals in the dining room, or ensuring our drive-thru runs smoothly, FOH Team Members are the face of Chick-fil-A City Gate. This role is ideal for individuals who are guest-focused, energetic, and committed to delivering service with a smile. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Provide a warm, genuine greeting to every guest and serve with care. Execute Chick-fil-A’s “Core 4†hospitality behaviors: Create Eye Contact, Share a Smile, Speak Enthusiastically, and Stay Connected. Take guest orders accurately and efficiently at the counter or drive-thru. Deliver food promptly, ensuring orders are complete, accurate, and presented neatly. Anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile to create memorable experiences. Operational Excellence Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and health department standards. Maintain dining room, restrooms, patios, and front counter areas to Chick-fil-A standards. Assist with stocking, organizing, and restocking supplies as needed. Support smooth drive-thru operations, including taking orders on iPOS, assembling beverages, and ensuring timely delivery. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused attitude. Team & Culture Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment by encouraging and supporting others. Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and leaders. Follow all uniform, appearance, and punctuality expectations. Uphold Chick-fil-A’s culture of honor, dignity, and respect toward all guests and team members. Candidate must also demonstrate a team-first mindset by willingly supporting additional responsibilities as needed to ensure an exceptional guest and team member experience. Qualifications A genuine desire to serve and care for others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Availability for various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Preferred Experience (Not Required): Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or food service.
