As a Dining Room Host/Hostess, you will play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment where every guest feels cared for. This position is responsible for delivering remarkable guest experiences by combining attentive hospitality with a strong commitment to cleanliness and detail. Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Hospitality Create a warm and welcoming environment by greeting and engaging with guests in a genuine way Proactively check on guests to ensure their needs are met and their experience is exceptional Anticipate guest needs by offering refills, clearing trays, and providing additional items before being asked Respond to guest questions or concerns with care, urgency, and professionalism Represent Chick-fil-A’s commitment to “second-mile service” in every interaction Dining Room Care & Cleanliness Maintain a spotless dining room by cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, booths, and high-touch surfaces Quickly clear, clean, and reset tables to keep seating readily available for guests Routinely monitor and maintain restrooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking Manage trash and recycling to keep all areas neat and presentable Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards with consistency and attention to detail Team Support & Attention to Detail Continuously observe the dining room to identify opportunities to serve guests or improve cleanliness Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Take initiative to go above and beyond in both service and presentation Qualifications: Passion for serving others and creating positive guest experiences Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment Dependable and team-oriented What Success Looks Like: Guests consistently experience a clean, comfortable, and inviting dining environment Guests feel genuinely welcomed and cared for during their visit The dining room operates smoothly, with minimal wait time for clean tables Cleanliness and hospitality standards are upheld at all times You actively contribute to a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and excellence This role goes beyond cleaning—it is about creating a memorable dining experience through attentiveness, warmth, and pride in maintaining a space where guests feel valued and comfortable.
