Job Description
The Front of House Team Leader plays a vital role in creating a seamless and welcoming guest experience while supporting operational excellence. This position is responsible for leading and developing team members, ensuring accurate and efficient service, and upholding Chick-fil-A’s hospitality and brand standards. Team Leaders act as the direct link between the Hospitality Director and the FOH team, balancing guest service with operational execution. They work collaboratively with fellow leaders to maintain consistency across shifts, drive performance, and foster a culture of care, speed, accuracy, and second-mile service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Ensure guests are greeted warmly and served quickly and accurately.
- Model friendliness, attentiveness, and a caring attitude to create positive interactions.
- Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee front counter and drive-thru operations to maintain speed, accuracy, and quality.
- Assign and adjust team member positions during shifts for efficiency.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of all guest-facing areas.
Team Development
- Lead by example, working alongside team members during shifts.
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and on-the-spot coaching.
- Support training efforts to help team members grow in skill and confidence.
Communication & Collaboration
- Share important updates and feedback between leadership and team members.
- Work with other leaders on projects, seasonal adjustments, and improvements.
- Contribute to team meetings with ideas and solutions.
Accountability & Standards
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
