About Us
ChiChi is a breakfast startup on a mission to reinvent breakfast with chickpeas. We started ChiChi in a dorm room after realizing most “healthy” breakfast options were actually high in carbs and sugar but low in protein. So… we rolled chickpeas into an oat shape and created the first oatmeal made from chickpeas.
Today, we make high-protein, high-fiber breakfast products that are actually delicious, made with simple ingredients, and designed to keep people full. We’re growing quickly and launching in more retailers — and we’re looking for someone awesome to help us bring ChiChi to life in stores.
Your Role
We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, people-person to join the ChiChi team as a Brand Ambassador.
You’ll be the face of ChiChi in stores — sharing samples, telling our founder story, educating shoppers, and getting people excited about chickpeas for breakfast (trust us, people are very curious). If you love healthy food, talking to strangers, and helping people discover products they genuinely end up loving, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
- Host fun, in-person demos at Whole Foods and other retailers
- Sample and sell ChiChi products in-store
- Share the ChiChi story and educate customers on why chickpeas > oats 😉
- Connect with shoppers, answer questions, and create an engaging brand experience
- Help drive sales, increase brand awareness, and build excitement around ChiChi
Who You Are
- Outgoing, chatty, and genuinely excited to meet new people
- Passionate about health, wellness, or better-for-you food brands
- Comfortable talking to strangers and selling product
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
- Previous brand ambassador, retail, sales, or demo experience is a plus — but personality matters most
- Reliable transportation to travel to store locations
- Available for 1–2 demos per week (4 hours each) with weekend availability
Timeline
- Onboarding (2–3 hours): July 15–25
- In-Person Training with Founder: July 18–23
- In-Store Demos: 1–3 demos per week (4 hours each) from July 23–October 30 (minimum time commitment)
Compensation
$25/hour for each 4-hour demo $50 bonus when you sell 24 cups total during a demo. We also cover approved demo materials transportation costs.
