Position Overview
Chichester School District seeks a dedicated High School Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves designing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction and fostering a supportive and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and district standards in areas such as genetics, ecology, human anatomy, and cellular biology.
- Laboratory Management (for Biology roles): Supervise safe and effective lab activities that develop students' scientific inquiry and methodology skills.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design, administer, and grade assessments; track student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive and disciplined environment conducive to learning, inclusive of all students.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians; collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success.

Qualifications
