Chicheria MX Kitchen is currently looking for a Server Assistant/Food Runner to come join our fun and dynamic team. If you have the right personality and work ethic we would love to have you as a team member. We are a Mexican restaurant located at The Works Upper West Side in Atlanta. We are looking for candidates with weekdays and weekend availability.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff. *Responsibilities* - Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. - Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to ensure accurate order delivery. - Help set up and break down banquet events as needed. - Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries. - Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods. *Requirements* - Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred. - Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest experiences. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food.
