HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
- You will utilize various computer applications involving creating, and verification of financial records and forms.
- You will perform various supporting functions for General Accounting to include monitoring of daily processing of invoices, monitor and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis, monthly review of A/P aging, and of re-occurring payables entry.
- You will work closely with Financial Analysts to review budgeted allocations in respect to A/P data entry and General Ledger coding.
- You will be responsible for automating electronic payments for utilities, phone and other services used by program locations, and or rental communities when deemed appropriate.
- You will work with outside vendors regularly to reconcile outstanding invoices that are paid and unpaid.
- You will develop and maintain a system to ensure all utilities invoices are received, processed, and paid timely.
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Assistance in creating and enforcing policy and procedure(s).
- Assistance with the preparation for the annual external audits.
- Must possess, strong computer skills, customer service, time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailed focused multi-tasking while working in a fast-paced environment and during under month end closing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of accounts payable experience
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines
