About Cplc Arizona's Trauma Recovery Center Grant
CPLC is proud to have been awarded a grant from the Arizona Department of Health Services to pilot one of the first Trauma Recovery Centers in the state of Arizona! The Trauma Recovery Center serves recent victims of violent crime, including survivors of physical assault, sexual assault, gunshot wounds, stabbings, domestic violence and human trafficking. Clinical services are short-term and trauma-informed, providing individual and group psychotherapy as well as comprehensive clinical case management. Our team is fully bilingual Spanish/English speaking.
HYBRID REMOTE
The team works hybrid remotely, from home, office and the field. Services are provided through both telehealth and in-person services. Candidates must be willing and available to work in the office and field as required, during office hours.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You will facilitate clinical intakes, individual and group psychotherapy, assertive outreach, and clinical case management services, using evidence-based practices that are effective for the service population and work as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver trauma-informed care through clinical intakes, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and comprehensive case management.
- Engage in community and home visits to ensure continuity of care and support for clients unable to attend appointments.
- Advocate for survivors by connecting them to vital resources, assisting with legal processes, and collaborating with law enforcement and community agencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
- As assigned, participate in an after-hours rotation to provide emergency clinical support when needed.
- You are trauma-informed! You are non-judgmental and committed to advocating for survivors of violent crime with empathy, professionalism, and clinical expertise.
- You are inclusive and community-oriented. You always show awareness and sensitivity to cultural details and community practices of low-income and at-risk families, including Spanish-speaking clients.
- You LOVE documentation!! Ok, maybe you don't LOVE it lol BUT you are great at getting notes in on time, following-up, communicating, meeting deadlines, and complying with HIPPA.
- You adapt to meet the needs of your clients, being able to work in the office and in the field, as well as provide after-hours support as assigned.
- You are bilingual Spanish/English speaking and registered with the AZ BBHE.
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or related field, enabling credentialing with the State of Arizona.
- Licensed with the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (BBHE) at the entry/associate level. Independent level preferred.
- Two year’s post-masters experience preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy.
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certificates.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer software systems including Microsoft Office, which includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
