Job description:
- Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex scans of veins and arteries of the lower extremities.
- Assist providers with ultrasound guided procedures. Full training provided.
- Document findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for physician review, supporting diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort while explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in vascular imaging.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent credential preferred. Graduates who are registry-eligible and plan to take the exam in the next three months are also encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to vascular and arterial health.
- Proficiency in sonography equipment operation and diagnostic evaluation of vascular conditions.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues.
