Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Closing Officer based in Ottawa, IL. The Closing Officer will facilitate and oversee real estate transactions by managing the escrow process, preparing documentation, coordinating closings, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires maintaining excellent communication with clients, lenders, and all parties involved to provide a seamless closing experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Escrow and Closings
- Proficiency in Customer Service and a client-focused approach
- Understanding of Finance and financial processes related to real estate transactions
- Experience with Title Insurance and related documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Ottawa, IL
- Familiarity with state and federal real estate regulations is a plus
- Relevant certifications and prior experience in escrow and closing functions are advantageous
