Sales/Marketing Assistant - Retail

AT&T, and are looking for an energetic and personable Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our rapidly growing Vernon Hills team. As a Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant, you will be the face of our company and clients, assisting in the promotion of AT&T and Just Energy’s products and services and the enrollment of new customers. Our Retail Sales and Marketing team provides a premium customer experience that turns shoppers into loyal clients. The Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant will receive hands-on training to master sales strategies, product knowledge, client communication, and brand promotion. Your role is to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that connect them with the best solutions available.

Essential Functions of the Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant:

• Actively connect with customers at assigned retail locations to understand their needs and recommend tailored products and services.
• Showcase, demonstrate, and sell the latest AT&T devices and accessories, emphasizing key features and benefits to enhance customer interest.
• Stay updated on upgrades, promotions, service plans, and product details to provide knowledgeable and accurate information.
• Handle sales transactions smoothly, including new activations, upgrades, and accessory sales, ensuring proper documentation and customer satisfaction.
• Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets for customer acquisition, upgrades, and service enhancements.
• Deliver exceptional support by promptly addressing customer questions and resolving concerns to ensure a positive retail experience.
• Maintain an inviting and organized work space, keeping displays attractive, engaging, and merchandise well-stocked.
• Work closely with your team to foster collaboration, share best practices, and contribute to a motivating and successful store environment.

Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant Desired Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• Previous experience in customer-facing sales, retail, or similar roles is preferred, though motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Quick thinker able to provide effective solutions on the spot.
• A results-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic, competitive drive, and dedication to exceeding sales goals.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment.
• Strong communication skills to engage and connect with diverse customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $1,200.00 per week
