Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Bridgeview, IL - 16 hours/week from March to November. The Nutrition Intern will assist with tasks such as restocking all fueling zones including the meal room, locker room, and weight room as well as assist with tracking and managing inventory including ordering from vendors and local stores. They will support the team dietitian. Intern will have the opportunity to help team dietitian with fulfilling other nutritional needs and initiatives.
This role provides the intern with practical experience in sports nutrition while also helping the department manage increasing demand for nutrition needs. Their contribution will enhance program efficiency, help build the nutrition program to the next level, and support the department’s mission to provide optimal meals and fuel around training for performance.
Qualifications
- Nutrition or sports-related major (or an interest in sports nutrition)
- Strong communication skills (in-person and via email)
- Organized, timely and contributes to a positive working environment
- Availability March to November
