We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Chicago Print Group, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all products are handled efficiently and accurately to maintain our reputation for reliability.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against shipping documents.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and accurately.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of stock levels in the warehouse.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and inventory.
Requirements
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with FedEx and UPS Shipping Software a must
