The current opportunity to join the team is at West Suburban Senior Center (West Suburban), a program of CMSS. West Suburban is a welcoming senior community with knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring staff, offering events, activities, and programming for seniors every weekday, with no charge for attendance. Lunch is served daily for a small, suggested donation. The center also has a LGBT program, providing connection and engagement for LGBT older adults and allies in the suburbs.
POSITION SUMMARY
CMSS' West Suburban Senior Center in Bellwood, IL, is seeking a part-time team member (24 hours a week) to help support the Center and its participants. This position will work closely with the Senior Center team to coordinate and implement engaging programs and services and be vital in developing any new or expanded offerings.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Senior Services or a related field preferred.
- Food handler’s certification required. (can be obtained on the job)
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- On-the-job training provided
