Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization providing an array of programs and services to older adults across Chicagoland.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a broad-scoped caregiver position. The Resident Associate has full responsibility for direct resident care.
- This includes personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, helping residents participate in the daily activity program, meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge and skills to effectively interact and communicate with persons exhibiting dementia
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with family members, visitors and co-workers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in care giving required
- Completion of eight (8) hour dementia training program
- Available to work flexible schedule, including weekends
