Position Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator – Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the home service program through auditing and compliance tasks. Follows and ensures all regulatory standards are met while maintaining a quality program.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to: Director, SASI
Supervises: N/A
Interrelationships: Clients, Families, Staff, Community and Vendors
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- The core function is auditing of client files, auditing of service through service monitoring calls and any additional auditing tasks as needed.
- Attention to detail, a must.
- Regular, punctual attendance.
- Prepares timely and detailed documentation of incoming program communications.
- Create and maintain hard copy and electronic files for all clients.
- Support Senior Program Supervisor with monitoring the compliance of all direct care employees training schedules & assignments
- Able to use business office equipment (i.e.: computers, phones, xerox/copier/fax, shredder, etc.).
- Maintain office supply inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
- ATTENDANCE AND WORK HABITS
Dependable and reliable when scheduled to work as evidenced by infrequent use of sick time, absent time and lateness. Follows dress code and practices principles of good health and hygiene. Illustrates positive attitude and good work habits as evidenced by effective communication, teamwork, quality of work and care, initiative, cooperation and adherence to all policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Passion for and experience serving older adults, including servicing those with memory care needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to stay on point when communicating, with the ability to synthesize and share only applicable information.
- Auditing and compliance experience a plus.
- The ability to regulate one’s self under stressful circumstances, while seeing the larger picture is required. As is the ability to self-care and laugh.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Associate’s Degree preferred
- Two to four year’s experience, in health care arena, assessing clients, case management, gerontology, social work.
SAFETY, HEALTH & TRAINING
Attends all mandatory training, in-service and staff meetings. Completes annual TB screening on a timely basis knowledgeable of the emergency codes, fire and disaster policies. Maintain clean and safe work area.
