We are seeking highly organized Remote Removal Defense Paralegal to support our growing immigration deportation defense practice.We represent individuals in immigration detention, bond proceedings, cancellation of removal cases, asylum matters, affirmative filings, and complex removal defense cases nationwide.ResponsibilitiesDraft and assist with motions, including:Bond redeterminationsMotions to reopenMotions to reconsiderContinuance requestsPrepare and assist with filings for:Cancellation of Removal (42A / 42B)Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and CAT protectionDefensive and affirmative immigration applicationsAssist in preparation of Immigration Court pre-trial briefsDraft legal memoranda supporting affirmative immigration filingsPrepare case strategy summaries and relief eligibility analysesDraft client declarations and supporting affidavitsCompile, organize, and paginate exhibit packets for Immigration Court filingsReview NTAs, immigration history, and criminal records for relief screeningCommunicate with detained clients and family members as neededCoordinate evidence collection and case preparation with attorneys Schedule & Compensation10–30 hours per week (flexible)Fully remote position$30-$40/hour (contract position)Opportunity to grow into full-time positionTo ApplyPlease submit:ResumeYour weekly availability and flexibility
