Blending- Material Handler 3rd Shift

Job Summary: 
Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders by supplying materials and ready to package product to the Packaging lines, and finished goods to the Warehouse. 

Essential Functions: 

• Operate Forklift to move product from Blending to Packaging and from Packaging to Warehouse.
• Supply empty pallets and materials to pack lines as needed to keep packing lines operating.
• Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/bags onto a pallet.  Requires lifting up to 25 – 55 lbs. continuously.
• Required to assist in dumping of product at deck as needed. Requires pushing/pulling 100 lbs.
• Required to assist as packer operator as needed.
• Completes paperwork as needed.
• Must maintain integrity of raw materials.
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Salary:

Starting at $20.21 to $25.27 an hour.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent education, training or experience (GED)
• 6 months’ experience in a food production/ food manufacturing environment.
• Job requires constant standing, lifting, and moving products most of the day.
• Ability to type to operate a computer to enter and run reports.
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills to successfully perform the job.
• Must not have an aversion to heights.
• Must be able to consistently lift to 80 lbs.
• Willing to work 12 hours shift and weekends.

Work Environment:
The job is performed in production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
