Position Overview
The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead our Group Ticket Sales team. As the Director, you will be responsible primarily for the growth of our group sales revenue by direct leadership of our group sales team. A heavy emphasis will be placed on the implementation and execution of effective sales processes and the professional development of the group sales team. You will have the chance to lead and manage several Account Executives while actively representing our department across internal teams and at external events.

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 annually plus a structured bonus and is commission eligible. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

More Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Responsible for the management and performance of Group Sales team, who are responsible for driving all our group-related campaigns and initiatives.
- Support Group Sales staff by evaluating sales calls and attending out of office, virtual and arena appointments.
- Execute one-on-ones with group sales executives to reinforce sales processes and provide continual feedback.
- Assist in establishing KPI’s and benchmarks for all Group Sales Executives.
- Develop recommendations for new (or enhancement of) group product offerings, budget utilization and sales strategies for the department.
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop and efficiently maintain all sales campaigns and lead distribution in CRM.
- Assist in identifying and implementing new technology platforms to help efficiently cultivate and nurture new business clientele.
- Responsible for staff training on CRM Group Sales processes, as well as creating educational decks for staff to reference.
- Primary lead and internal liaison for all Special Ticket Offers SpeedTix and FeVo processes and execution for Ticket Sales department, including but not limited to communication with Ticket Operations, BS&A and Marketing.
- Oversee all group program processes, logistics and execution, including internal/external communication, prospecting events, sales campaigns, etc.
- Assist in creation of new sales packages, opportunities for new sales, and internal sales contests/initiatives.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience with a 3-year minimum of full-time sales experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales leadership managing direct reports.
- At least 3 years of high-volume sales experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs including the CRM and ticketing systems.
- Ability to navigate the arena in order to visit clients during home games and escort potential customers on meetings, showing various seating options and facilities on both gamedays and non-gamedays.
