Painter/Maintenance Worker

This is a dual-site position and completes work at Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines and Lake Behavioral Hospital in Waukegan.

Are you an experienced Painter/Maintenance Worker who is looking for a new position? Your perfect opportunity awaits at Chicago Behavioral Hospital!

The Painter/Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks, heavily focused on painting. It may also include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, testing and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and various janitorial duties, with minimal supervision.

Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For

• Education & Licensure: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
• Experience: Must have experience operating various hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions preferred. Must experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering preferred.

Compensation

This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $18.00-$24.00 an hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Painter/Maintenance Worker!
