What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Internship position at Chic Soul?
Our online curvy women’s boutique is seeking an intern to work with our Production Team! The intern would assist with organization and preparation before photoshoots and and support the team during on-site and off-site photoshoots and content creation!
They would have the opportunity to see how our eye-catching content is made and learn from each talented member of the Chic Soul Production Team! The internship would start and continue through the Spring 2026 Semester.
Candidates must be available to work 20 hours a week in-office, at photo shoot locations, or content locations.
Qualifications:
● Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Apparel
Merchandising, Fashion Design, Photography, or a related field.
● GPA of 2.5 or higher.
● Possessing a keen eye for detail.
● Able to stay organized, but flexible.
● Demonstrating remarkable written and verbal communication skills.
● Willing to bring forward creative ideas for photoshoots and content creation.
● Able to work within a team as well as on your own with minimal supervision.
● Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic
environment.
Daily Tasks Include:
● Taking charge of receiving, organizing, preparing, and returning items to and from the
warehouse.
● Steaming clothing for photoshoots.
● Working with our stylist to prepare for shoots.
● Assisting with models during photoshoots.
● Working with our photo editor to name and organize photos.
**Please note:
● We will meet requirements for school credit.
● Internship would be for Spring 2026 semester.
● Chic Soul is located in Opelika, AL. This is not a remote position.
● Our in-office business hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must be available to work 20 hours a week during office hours.
