Executive Assistant

Highly effective Executive Assistant needed starting at 20 hours per week, mostly remote, but with opportunity for more hours as work increases and as the person in this position demonstrates effectiveness. We are a small and growing home staging and furniture sales company located in the East Bay. The person in this position would be responsible for assisting in a wide array of duties including helping to write proposals, invoicing, light customer service, internal communications, scheduling meetings, marketing assistance, and administrative functions such as assisting with payroll and government compliance.The ideal candidate for this position should be extremely organized, be able to operate effectively unsupervised, be able to take instruction and execute tasks in a complete and timely manner, be able to communicate well on the telephone and in writing, and be a able to function in a fast-paced, but positive work environment. The right person for this position must have a flexible, positive outlook and a good sense of humor is a plus.Currently, this job can be done mostly remotely with daily or multiple daily check-ins. There will be some requirements for in-person work, but for the moment, that will be the exception rather than rule. As the business grows and work requirements increase, there is a likelihood that this position will transition to more in-person work.4-Year college degree preferred with 2 years' assistant experience.
