Job Summary And Responsibilities
As our Medical Surgical Peds Nurse at St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities.
Pay Range
$34.00 - $50.58 /hour

- Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN), Required.
- Bachelors Of Nursing, Preferred.
- Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND), Required Upon Start.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required Upon Start.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Required within 90 Days of start.
