Responsibilities

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Administering therapy modalities. Medication administration may be included during these therapy modalities
• Performing ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems
• Performs specialized procedures which including but are not limited to, CPR, bronchial lavage, transport, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, artificial and tracheostomy airway care, and body mechanics/ambulation
• Performs physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing
• Serve as resource to certified respiratory therapists, preceptor for new employees, and respiratory care students
  
  

Job Requirements

Required Education and Licensure:

• Completion of respiratory care degree program
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Texas)
• BLS Card - American Heart Association

Pay Range

$24.27 - $40.04 /hour
