Every day, you will expertly perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radionuclides to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners. You'll ensure appropriate patient care, recognize conditions essential for successful procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate equipment, and adhere to strict radiation safety.

Pay Range
$33.11 - $49.25 /hour

- Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals and materials; calculates and administers doses under the direct supervision of a Radiologist
- Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients; formulate radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits. Calibrate instruments and review calibration date to detect trends indicating instrument malfunction. Calculate data to include results of patient’s studies and radioactive decay.
- Performs diagnostic exams on patients as prescribed by physician.
- Uses scanners or scintillation cameras for detection of radiation emitted to produce image of organ on photographic film.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine or approved school of nuclear medicine technology
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire
- Nuclear Medical Technologist: AR, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
