Pay Range
$37.22 - $55.37 /hour

You'll perform extensive clinical laboratory testing, providing accurate, timely results crucial for patient care.
You Will
- Comprehensive Testing: Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
- System & Quality Control Mastery: Effectively use LIS; participate in QC evaluation with documented action.
- Instrument Operations & Maintenance: Operate, perform PMs, and troubleshoot equipment; document all actions.
- Continuous Learning: Actively participate in continuing education.
- Specimen Integrity: Responsible for collection and preparation of specimens.
- Lab Preparedness: Maintain supply stocks and neat work areas.
- Referral Management: Prepare specimens for outside reference labs when necessary.
- Phlebotomy (if applicable): Obtain blood samples from all age groups and special needs patients.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Scientific Acumen & Precision: Deep knowledge of lab principles; meticulous attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Commitment to Quality: Dedicated to highest lab standards.
- Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science Medical Technologist program (BSMT).
- Required Licensure and Certifications:
- Certified by ASCP, NCA, AAB, or AMT as a Medical Technologist.
- Eligible candidates considered if certified within six (6) months of hire.
