Pay Range
$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
As a Laboratory Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for the technical and scientific management of one or more laboratory sections, ensuring compliance and quality.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Personnel Management: Training, coaching, and evaluating lab staff competency, ensuring adherence to policies and ethics. Identifying training needs and providing regular in-service education.
- Operational Oversight: Managing daily lab operations, making critical decisions, and overseeing inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Selecting appropriate test methodologies, verifying procedures, establishing performance characteristics (precision, accuracy), and administering a robust quality control program. Ensuring remedial actions are taken when test systems deviate and that patient results are accurate.
- Technical Expertise: Assisting with and resolving technical problems. Qualifying and functioning as a CLIA-defined Technical Consultant.
