Job Summary And Responsibilities
As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.
Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
Pay Range
$16.42 - $23.19 /hour

- Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
- Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas
- Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
- Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits; notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
- Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, and issues and credits materials from the inventory management point-of-use system.
- Labels bins and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
- High School Graduate General Studies and Minimum of three (3) years’ experience of inventory management or other relevant experience, upon hire or
