Pay Range
$19.87 - $28.06 /hour

- Counsel insured and uninsured patients regarding financial responsibility, estimated patient liability, and available financial assistance or payment options.
- Screen patients for eligibility for hospital financial assistance, charity care, foundation programs, and other programs.
- Complete, submit, and follow up on charity care and financial assistance applications to ensure timely eligibility determinations.
- Collect patient portions as applicable and assist patients with establishing approved payment plans in accordance with hospital policies.
- Coordinate with leadership as required for approval of payment plans or settlements based on established approval guidelines.
- Perform account adjustments or write‑offs in accordance with hospital financial assistance policies as deemed necessary.
Required
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of health care experience
