Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Endocrinologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Lincoln, Nebraska at CHI Health Clinic. This is an ambulatory endocrinology practice position for growth. In this position, you will enjoy the support of an excellent multi-disciplinary team, including two physicians, three experienced Advanced Practice Providers, dietician, and two certified diabetes educators. The endocrine team delivers high-quality care to patients with a full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Everyday you will provide expert clinical care in general endocrinology, with opportunities to cultivate subspecialty interests in areas like diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic bone disorders. You will actively collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including nurses, primary care providers, surgeons, and other specialists, to ensure high quality comprehensive patient care.

To be successful in this role you will be fundamentally tied to both clinical excellence and strategic program development. By compassionately building a large patent panel, maintaining productivity at least at the 50th percentile, and fostering strong primary care relationships, you will readily establish yourself as a valued clinician. Beyond direct patient care, you will actively shape and advance diabetes education and management ultimately enhancing the health of our community.

  • 100% Outpatient practice for over 15 years
  • No Hospital Call
  • Wide variety of endocrine cases with large referral network
  • Monday - Friday work schedule - 4 or 4.5 day work week (36 patient hours a week)
  • Outpatient Call Shared Equally Between Providers (Currently 1:5)
  • EPIC EMR

We are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Required

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • American Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
  • Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska
  • DEA in good standing with no restrictions
  • BLS
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
