Job Requirements
CHI Health St. Francis is a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving Central Nebraska. Our hospital offers a 16-bed open ICU with after-hours eICU support, a well-established hospitalist and intensivist program, and a wide range of engaged subspecialists—creating an excellent environment for collaborative, high-quality perioperative care.
St. Francis continues to invest in clinical excellence, with Magnet-recognized nursing, a newly renovated Emergency Department, OR expansion in 2021 and a mission-driven culture that supports both patient care and provider well-being.
Community: Practice in a community of 50,000 , known for its safety, family-friendly atmosphere, and strong economy rooted in agriculture and manufacturing. Grand Island is the 4th largest city in Nebraska and a retail hub for 30 surrounding communities.
Pay Range
$246,316 - $283,203 /year

- New, integral position as we expand our services to meet community demand
- The Anesthesia team provides anesthesia services at both CHI Health St. Francis & Grand Island Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Diverse case mix: General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Urology, ENT, Neuroscience
- Practice in new Operating Rooms (opened 2021), featuring advanced technology including a new DaVinci Xi robot.
- Robust hospital support with strong Hospitalist and Intensivist programs along with multiple subspecialty physicians.
- Academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine
- Time off: 9 week 6 holidays
- Call Requirement: 1 in 6
- Compensation Range: $484,410 - $514,410 / Year
